CNC Bender

Purpose of Job:

• The person will be responsible for operating a CNC brake press bending machine that shape and form the metal sheet into parts or products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Sets up and operate a bending machine to bend metal structural shapes.

2. Check products for correct shapes, dimensions, and other specifications.

3. Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment.

4. Document work completed.

5. Position and clamp end stops on a machine to set specified location of bend.

6. Read and interpret specifications to produce parts or products.

7. Troubleshoot, perform corrective action, or minor repairs.

The Following Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge, and Experience will be required:

u Grade 12 and related qualifications.

u 4 years of experience on brake press bending machine.

u Good understanding of industry quality requirements.

u Good understanding of dimensions.

Personal Attribute

u Attention to fine detail is very crucial.

u Technical knowledge and problem-solving ability.

u Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings.

u Must have knowledge of different metal materials.

u Must be familiar with measuring equipment.

u The candidate should be a team player.
