The successful incumbent will be responsible for the following:

  • Managing all administrative aspects of the entire employee life cycle
  • Ensure compliance with all aspects of Sectoral Determination as well as Basic Conditions of Employment Act, Labour Relations Act, Employment Equity Act, Skills Development and OHSA as applicable

  • Working closely with all departments in a consultancy role

  • Administrating monthly Payroll (approximately 200 staff) on VIP

  • Administration of Employee benefits

  • Completing all prescribed monthly reports timeously

  • Managing of the Hotel’s Induction Program

  • Driving of CCMA processes as required

  • Initiating and/or Chairing Internal Disciplinary Enquiries

  • Dealing with grievances and Facilitate Disciplinary Action

  • Recruitment of all approved vacancies

  • Annual Training Planning and Audits

  • Driving of Employment Equity Initiatives

  • General administration of HR Department

  • Drive the entire Take Care Initiative

The following are the requirements:

  • Min Grade 12
  • HR Degree or National Diploma/and or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Labour Legislation and other Statutory Acts will be advantageous
  • VIP Experience will be advantageous
  • Computer literate (MS Office)
  • Confidentiality and sense of integrity essential
  • Strong administrative and organisation skills
  • Be Literate and competent with numerical work
  • Possess high level of responsibility
  • Meticulous and high attention to detail
