Payroll Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end payroll processing (monthly & weekly)

• Resolve payroll queries and manage 3rd-party deductions

• Maintain controls, accuracy, and compliance

• Process sales commissions

• Handle statutory submissions: EMP201, UIF, MIBFA

• Reconcile and manage employee benefit payments

• Onboard/terminate employees on payroll systems

• Extract GL reports and load to finance system

• Manage leave administration

• Complete EMP501 (bi-annual & annual)

• Support audits and maintain compliant employee files

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification

• 5 to 10 years HR/payroll experience

• Experience in manufacturing (advantage)

• Sage People 300 + ESS essential; Syspro & biometrics a plus

• Strong MS Office skills

• Flexible, detail-driven, and able to work independently and in a team
