It’s a double stand with the 5 bedrooms dispersed among the rocky outcrops; each situated for privacy and bush views from the bathrooms. The central lodge area has a lounge and TV area with a fireplace for the colder winter days. There is internet in the main lodge area. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridges, deep freezer, dishwasher, stove and all kitchenware necessary to cater for 10 people. The lounge and dining room open up onto a large thatch patio. Weeks that are not used by shareholders can be utilised by other shareholders or their family. There is a roster for usage that is published for the members.

The property is on Lissataba Private Nature Reserve; Lissataba means View of the Mountains. It is an exclusive and amazingly beautiful nature reserve located 30 min from Hoedspruit and borders the banks of the Olifants river. There are only 54 stands located on 2,500 ha. Each stand is 7,500 sqm in size, full title and the stand owners own the balance of the 2,500 ha. Stands rarely touch each other and offer more privacy that conventional wildlife estates found in Hoedspruit.

The reserve has a variety of plains game and an excellent network of roads, dams, picnic sites and bird hides. There are scenic views onto the mountains, Olifants river frontage and various rocky outcrops. Because it is not stocked with “Big 5” game it is ideal for exploring on foot and on bicycle. In addition to the good network of roads, there are walking and cycling trails.
The reserve is managed and one unit with a reserve manager, maintenance manager and the farm staff. Levies are R3,960 which covers reserve running costs such as Fencing, Roads, Water and Power to each house, game management and reserve staff.
