From 2016 to 2021. I have been working in Blouberg for a family as their housekeeper. I worked chars during the week and handled all chores within the home which involved:
Bed changing each morning.
Cleaning all rooms, mopping floors and tiles
Cleaning all furniture, gadgets, windows curtain and blinds
Cleaning the bathrooms, toilet sits, basin, shower doors
Washing dishes in the kitchen and organizing the cupboards including taking all trash outside and cleaning stoeps

Good day
I am a well-organized lady from Zimbabwe, so passionate with children and have been working a full time stay in position in Durbanville from 2018 to December 2023.
The family employed me as domestic helper and nanny for their son from birth when I started employment within their home. I handled various duties especially for the newborn when the mom resumed her work, these included:
Sterilizing milk bottles, preparing milk and feeding baby
Introducing baby to solid meals according to parental instructions
Nappy changing and managing sleep time
Tagging along the child to handle all developmental milestones like sitting, crawling, standing and walking
Pot training for the child
Managing all play time and babysitting when parents went out
Bathing and dressing the child
Babysitting even weekends when parents went out.
The couple was blessed with another son and I humbly performed the same duties like before and nursed the baby from birth, feeding him, nappy changing, managing play and sleep time, managing all stimulating activities, pot training and babysitting. I prepared the elder son for school in the morning, breakfast and lunch box - including after care when he came from school.
In between caring for their 2 sons, I cleaned the house well and conducted laundry for the children and parents including splendid ironing and packing up all clothing away.
