Cost & Deposit

· Rent: R600 (includes water & electricity).

· Deposit: R300.

R820: 2 people (3rd/6th floor)

What’s Provided

· Bed included.

· Water: ground floor (R600–R820).

· Bring bedsheet, blanket, and one suitcase under bed.

· No extra furniture or excess luggage (extra charge applies).

Rules

· Keep room clean, make bed daily.

· Shared areas on cleaning roster.

· No smoking, drinking, visitors, or loud music. Use earphones.

· Quiet after 10pm, lights off.

· Damage deducted from deposit.

Rent & Payment

· Rent prepaid, due by 1st monthly (no exceptions).

· Non-payment = immediate eviction (like hotels).

· Bank transfer only. Do not pay security/others.

· Cash deposits cost R20–30 extra.

· Must join WhatsApp group.

If You Don’t Pay

· Asked to leave.

· Refusal = belongings locked/stored.

· Storage = half rent monthly.

· After 2 months unpaid, goods donated.

· All debts recovered.

· Name may be listed on credit bureau (hurts loans/credit).

Breaking Rules

· Minor offences (smoking, drinking, loud music, not cleaning): R200 fine each.

· Major offences (men in women’s rooms, drunk nuisance): immediate eviction, loss of rent balance + deposit.

Moving Out

· Signed 30-day notice required.

· Example: Notice in July = pay August, move end August.

· Wrong/no notice = deposit lost.

· Leaving flat = leave whole building.
