Other things to note
The Sight Seeing canal cruise stops right outside the café and travels from the CTICC to the Waterfront Hub and Watershed market which is full of handmade African crafts and eateries.

Battery Park with its cafes, skate boarding park, roller blade rink, basketball courts and lush mowed lawns is a fun place to go or to relax and is less than a 5-minute walk along the canal from the apartment. Here you can also hire a standup board and paddle along the canal at your leisure.

The Ceres Rail Company train operates most weekends from the Canal Café to Elgin wine region for day trips to the Elgin Valley and market.
