To report any maintenance, breakage, or cleanliness problems to the General or Maintenance Manager.13. To administer the general petty cash system and float in an accurate manner.14. Act as Duty Manager when required.15. To host, assist and engage with guests during breakfast, lunch and dinner or conferences / weddings16. Upselling of all merchandise17. Servicing of beverages and food18. Setting up buffet and stocking honesty bar19. Setting up of braai, cooking and preparing platters, light meals and picnics20. We are
looking for a reservationist for a small boutique hotel on
Helshoogte pass, 10km outside Stellenbosch.
The successful applicant must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a
reservations dept of a 4-5* hotel as well as some office admin experience. Grade 12 is a
minimum requirement for the position.
Good communication skills in English (written and spoken) are essential.
The candidate must be computer literate in MS office, email and knowledge of
hotel booking systems. Attention to
detail is key and own transport is beneficial.
The position is Monday to Friday and some weekend and public holiday
work will be involved.
