Luxury Guest House bases in Gansbaai at the beautiful Romansbaai Beach & Fynbos Estate is currently recruiting for a chef who will be responsible for intimate dinner experiences for our guests. We are aiming to offer our guests a fine dining experience.
The Guest House is located right at the ocean and offers 5 double bedrooms and aims to offer a fine dining experience for a maximum of 20 people a night. We proudly will provide dishes prepared with locally sourced and seasonal produce with a fine dining touch.
APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS
- We are looking for a joyful, enthusiastic, passionate person (male or female)
- Completed tertiary qualification in professional cookery / culinary arts
- Min. 2-3 years previous work experience gained in a kitch of an upmarket establishment
- Passionate about food and offering guests experiences
- Creative mind
- Committed and reliable
- Able to manage kitchen and staff, do costings, orders and new menus
- Excellent references
- Drivers license and own reliable transport
Working hours negotiable, but preferably: 11.00-21.00 hours daily.
Salary: R 8 000.00 - R 10 000.00 (neg), meals when on duty and free laundry service.
