Guesthouse Assistant Manager
We require an assistant manager for our 4-star guesthouse.
Monthly salary of R7000
Duties will include:
- Must be prepared to work flexible hours
- Preparing and serving of a Continental and English Breakfast.
- Controlling of stock and inventory and quality control.
- Reception, check in and check out of guests during and after office hours.
- Office Administration
- Answering telephone and deal with walk-ins.
- Managing bookings via Bookings.com, Nightsbridge
- Computer knowledge: Microsoft Outlook, - Excel, - Word
- Payments via credit card machine and basic record keeping.
- Attending to complaints of guests and problem solving.
- Hosting of conferences and serving of lunches.
- Foreseeing daily staff duties and laundry services.
- Overall attention to detail, cleanliness and neatness of all areas.
- Dealing with suppliers, contractors and maintenance if needed.
- General maintenance, order and cleanliness of the property including garden and pool
- Must be able to sleep in 2 weekends a month
