We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Guesthouse Manager to help launch and run our brand-new guesthouse. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fresh venture from the ground up and play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming guest experience from day one.The RoleYou will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the guesthouse, ensuring exceptional hospitality standards, smooth running of the property, and high levels of guest satisfaction. As the property is not yet open, you will also be involved in the final stages of setup, systems implementation, and preparing the team for opening.Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of guesthouse operations, including guest check-in/check-out, reservations, and front-of-house service
• Deliver outstanding customer service and handle guest enquiries, feedback, and any issues promptly
• Recruit, train, and manage staff (housekeeping, reception, and any other team members)
• Manage bookings, pricing, and occupancy through online platforms and direct channels
• Prepare a tasty breakfast or breakfast pack for guests.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and property maintenance
• Handle financial administration (invoicing, petty cash, basic reporting)
• Build strong relationships with local suppliers and tourism partners
• Ensure health & safety, licensing, and compliance requirements are met
• Contribute to marketing and promoting the guesthouse locally and online

About You

• Proven experience in hospitality management (guesthouse, B&B, boutique hotel, or similar preferred)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Hands-on, flexible, and happy to get involved in all aspects of the business
• Ability to work independently and take ownership
• Comfortable with basic computer systems and online booking platforms
• A warm, professional, and positive personality
