Pastry Chef de Parties – Atlantic Seaboard / Camps Bay

We are looking for 2 Pastry chefs for a 5 star hotel in Camps Bay

1 x Pastry Chef de Partie

AND 1 x Pastry Demi Chef de Partie

Minimum Requirements

· Diploma in Patisserie

· Must have at least 1 year’s experience in a 4* / 5* Hotel or Fine Dining Establishment

· Good knife skills

· Neat with high regard for personal hygiene and presentation

· Solid English verbal communication skills

· Understanding and application of basic math calculations – recipes, wages, costing and stock taking etc

· Able to work flexible hours, weekends and holidays with a long cycle of consecutive work days

You should be highly creative in the patisserie field and have a passion for making beautiful food.

You should also have experience running the section, staff and the pass and general all-round pastry kitchen management skills.
