St Lucia Holiday Cottage is a fully equipped 7-9 sleeper self-catering holiday home boasting spectacular ocean and St Lucia Estuary views.
Bordering iSimangaliso Wetland Park and set on a large established garden, our guests revel in the tranquility of nature. Our private holiday home is pure paradise! The half an acre property is exclusively yours during your stay.
Birding opportunities are abundant. Small duiker & mongoose are regularly sighted during daylight hours. Occasionally hippos are spotted travelling through the garden at night. Beware that hippos are not tame - keep a safe distance.
FACILITIES - include 3 bedrooms, with 7 single beds and 3 bathroom/toilets. You will not feel cramped in our spacious home - we have a dining room, formal lounge (DSTV available), breezeway sitting area (convert 2 sofas to single beds for extra guests), patio with braai facilities (BBQ). Our fully equipped kitchen contains stove, microwave, fridge & deep-freeze.
Bed linen and towels are provided. We do ask our guests to bring their own beach/swimming towels.
SERVICING - Our holiday home is fully serviced by Thabasile, who is resident on the premises, which includes: Dishwashing - done after breakfast & lunch times, Cleaning - bed making, sweeping, bathroom cleaning, Laundry - loads, including ironing are possible for an extra fee, please enquire.
SECURE PARKING - available inside fence/gated property.
LOCAL AREA INFORMATION: There are a variety of reasons to visit St Lucia. Greater St Lucia Wetland Park is South Africa’s first UNESCO World Heritage Listing and has been a Ramsar Wetland of International Importance since 1986. Abundant birdlife, beaches, lake systems, Estuary boat rides, and coastal forests. The village in situated inside the Nature Reserve, so you will be able to have sightings from the Boardwalk of hippos, crocodiles and birds. Contact us for more info, we would love to hear from you.
