Zomerlust Gastehuis

Zomerlust Gastehuis is a charming historic building that has been traced back to the 18th century, having been home to three generations of the De Villiers family. It is located in the Main Road of Paarl, a small town along the wine route. The guest house takes guests back to a bygone era.

The Manor House has 10 bedrooms, while the original stables have been converted into a further four rooms. All of the rooms sleep two people and are well equipped with telephones, TVs, safes and tea and coffee-making facilities. The rooms have air-conditioning and heated bathrooms to ensure guests comfort all year round.

The guest house has large and spacious gardens that are beautifully tended and ideal for children to play in. Adults can pick a quiet spot where they can relax and enjoy a book or a chat. There is a restaurant on site that provides warm, homely meals to their guests. The wine cellar opened in 2012 and guests are able to taste many quality labels.

Paarl is a located near to Franschhoek and Stellenbosch and the ideal base for those wanting to explore the wine regions of the Cape. Paarl itself is home to many esteemed wine farms and guests are able to visit and taste the wines of the region. Guests can visit cheese farms, do a KWV Technical Tour or relax and enjoy a scenic picnic.
