In keeping with the rich history of the area, Clanwilliam Lodge itself is a transformed girls’ hostel, originally built by the Provincial Administration in 1916. Clanwilliam is also famous for growing and cultivating Rooibos Tea and for its original leather “veldskoene†factory.
