An exciting Locum career opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse, Enrolled Nurse and Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary in General Wards and specialised wards.

Requirements:
•Qualified Registered Nurse / Enrolled Nurse / Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary
•Additional diploma highly advantageous
•Registered with SANC
•At least 2 to 3 years’ experience
•Be willing to work shifts in accordance with the requirements of the unit
•Must be able to work efficiently under pressure

Our client, in the medical care industry, based in Somerset West, is looking for a Registered Nurse.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
To supervise the nursing staff and Carers for home-based care patients.Will need to do home visits to various patients.Will be the link between the personnel and the clients / patients.Will need to manage the WhatsApp groups and reporting for the Carers.
Requirements:
Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid annual registration with the SA Nursing Council (SANC).At least 2 to 3 years’ working experience in the industry.Knowledgeable and skilled with regards to elderly care and medication rounds.Good wound care knowledge and skills.Infection control experience, specifically with regards to Covid 19 regulations.Computer literacy in Outlook, Word, and Excel.Proficiency in writing reports and good administration skills.Must be a strong leader with supervising skills.Team player with excellent communication skills.Must be fluent in Afrikaans and English.
Working hours: Mondays to Fridays from 08:00 to 17:00 and after hours on request.
Area: Somerset West area.
Salary offered: R25 000 – R30 000 per month (depending on experience).
Starting date: As soon as possible.

Established practice requires a Dental Assistant to perform the following duties:
Ordering, checking and maintaining of the stock
Checking invoices against orders, approving invoices and forwarding for payment
Responsible for year-end stock count and pricing
Cleaning and sterilizing equipment before and after surgery
Preparing patients for surgery: checking blood pressure and supplying medicine
Preparing surgical instruments needed for surgery
General assistance to the Dentist for example taking photos during surgery
Preparing instruments and stock for surgery in hospital and for the other branches
Cleaning suction pipes
Making sure all implants have been ordered and received ahead of surgery
Responsible for a clean and sterile surgery and examining rooms (supervising cleaning)
Prepare instruments and stock for surgery in hospital
Assisting with the appointment book
Assisting with answering telephone and general smooth running of the practice
Ensuring that all computers in surgery and examining rooms are up and running
Ensuring that the systems used are up and running

Arranging disposal of medical waste
