Registered Nurse needed for Retirement Village

We are looking for a Registered Nurse for our client, a Retirement Village based in the Pinelands Cape Town area


REQUIREMENTS

• Matric or equivalent
• Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse
• Computer literacy
• Flexible in working hours / shifts
• Capacity to implement and maintain standards of health practice
required from all accredited bodies and appropriate health legislation

PACKAGE & REMUNERATION

R20 000 - R27 000 (Depending on Experience and Skills)

FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Practice patient care with the Elderly
• Contribute to the holistic care of patients
• Attend handover of report at shift commencement
• Communicate effectively with patients of health and wellbeing
• Promote patient of health and wellbeing
• Audit of health records to ensure compliance
• Ensure all stock is well controlled and managed, charged and credited
appropriately
• Promote and maintain good public relations with patient, relatives,
visitors and doctors
• Flexibility in rotation to other wards when occupancies fluctuate
