An exciting career opportunity exists for an Enrolled Nurse within the Blouberg area.
If you have the following experience, we look forward to receiving your application.
Duties include the following, but not limited to:
•Provide comprehensive quality nursing care to patients, based on individualised patient needs, using scientific principles and practicing standard precautions and all principles of infection control.
•Maintain effective relationships with all internal and external customers, and ensure all actions promote customer service excellence.
Requirements:
•Registered as an Enrolled Nurse
•Registered with SANC
•At least 3 to 4 years’ experience as an Enrolled Nurse with relevant General ward experience
•Be willing to work shifts in accordance with the requirements of the unit
•Must be able to work efficiently under pressure

This candidate will be placed in the High Care Unit at our Spescare Blouberg branch to assist with the planning and managing of the rooms. SUMMARY Provide basic patient care under direction of qualified nursing staff. Perform duties such as feed, bathe, dress, groom, or change linens. May transfer or transport patients.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESInclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.Provide physical support to assist spinal patients to perform daily living activities, such as getting out of bed, bathing dressing, using the toilet, standing, walking, or exercising.Record vital sighs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate, as directed by medical or nursing staff.Remind patients to take medications or nutritional supplements.Set up treating or testing equipment, such as oxygen therapy and nebulizers, as directed by a physician or nurse.Stock or issue medical supplies, such as dressing packs or treatment trays.Exercise patients who are comatose, paralyzed, or have restricted mobility according to instructions of physician or nurse.Lift or assist others to lift patients to move them on or off beds, examination tables, surgical tables, or stretchers.Keep records within scope of responsibility up to date.Gather and mark patient’s laundry and ensure return of items.Full wash of patients and tend to their personal neatness and hygiene.Talk to patients, read to them or do occupational activities.Education , experience and requirements:Qualified and registered as an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary in South Africa (SANC)3 years’ experience as an ENA in a High Care Unit (preferably).Experience in sub- acute facility will be advantageous.Be prepared to work day or night duty depending on the needs of Spescare patient’s.Rehab / frail care / High Care/ Post operation recovery experience will be advantages.
