Qualifications
- Matric / Grade 12 (advantageous, but not always required).
- Housekeeping or hospitality training (advantageous).
- 12 years housekeeping experience in a hotel, lodge, hospital, or similar environment.
- Experience in maintaining cleaning standards and handling cleaning equipment.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and methods.
- Understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Ability to follow checklists, schedules, and room standards.
- Basic understanding of laundry processes.
- Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Honest, trustworthy, and well-presented.
- Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks.
