Home Based Carer (Fixed Monthly Salary)

Seeking a compassionate, reliable and trustworthy home carer to provide daily support to an elderly couple in their home (2days on – 2 days off basis) – Monday to Sunday.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist with personal care and hygiene incl. showering, dressing, grooming & toileting

· Prepare light meals and assist with feeding if required

· Administer medication

· Provide companionship and emotional support

· Perform light housekeeping, laundry and maintain a clean, safe living environment

· Assist with mobility

· Monitor and report any changes in health or wellbeing

Requirements:

· Previous experience in elderly care, home care essential (especially with Alzheimer & Parkinsons patients)

· Relevant caregiving qualification

· Kind, patient and dependable

· Good communication skills (Afrikaans essential)

· Ability to work independently and maintain client confidentiality

· Police clearance certificate

· Min. 2 contactable references from Managers

· Own transport – preferable
