RED CROSS TRAINED CARE GIVER WITH 13 YEARS EXPERIENCE SEEKING PRIVATE CARE POSITION,LIVE IN OR SHIFT

Good day My name is Ruvimbo, a very humble skilled and passionate Carer from Zimbabwe currently seeking a fulltime position as carer for a private patient either everyday, live in or shift position around Cape Town or other areas. I was trained at at Red Cross Center back in Zimbabwe between 2012 to 2013 and graduated with a certificate in Community Home Based Care, Nurse Aid and Advanced First Aid Certificate. I went on to do voluntary attachment at later employment at a public hospital for 7 years, and was so much involved with various patients of all ages who needed personalized care. I conducted various duties around the facilities which included: Cleaning and sanitizing rooms Changing of bedding and conducting full bed wash on frail patients, who included post operated, dementia patients, frail patients with severe hypertension and sugar, cancer patients and physically injured patients. I checked vitals on patients, feeding them and assisting with bathroom needs, changing nappies and all grooming needs. I assisted with giving medication working with resident Sr, dressing wounds and helping with daily exercises etc. I then came to Pretoria were I was attached to a private patient as a live in Carer for their frail grandparent who had dementia and other chronic illnesses, I performed various activities while working a fulltime position and these included, dressing wounds, checking vitals, assisting with bathrooms needs, performing full bed bath, skin care, month care and grooming needs. I prepared heathy meals including feeding and giving him medication on time as per Doctors strict instruction. I was working a full time live in position and took excellent care of their frail grandmother who needed special care .
