CARER EXPERIENCED WITH FRAIL DEMENTIA STROCKED PATIENTS SEEK PRIVATE PATIENT FULLTIME/SHIFT POSITION

Good day My name is Sibongile, a well-trained and very experienced carer from Zimbabwe. I was trained as carer at EDUCARE in Somerset West and further did my comprehensive practicals ant Tulbach Care Facility in Strand. During my voluntary practicals at the old age home, I had the opportunity to work with many resident patients who had various chronic illnesses which included dementia patients, frail and bed ridden patients, stroked and post operated patients, patients with Parkinson illness and others physically disadvantaged. I performed various duties during my daily shifts which included: Performing full wash on patients Use of bedpan and assisting able patients to the bathrooms Changing incontinence pads Feeding patients Pressure care management and dressing wounds Checking vitals like blood pressure, blood sugar, pulse and temperature Assisting the nurses to give out medication and monitoring. maintaining good companionship within the residence etc I have been working for the past year till August 2023 - a full-time position for a private patient who stayed in Gardens Cape Town, and I provided care for the wife who had suffered a terminal stroke and needed special care.
