SKILLED CARER WITH EXP WITH DEMENTIA, STROKED AND BEDRIDDEN PATIENTS SEEK EVERYDAY/SHIFT POSITION

Good day My name is Mphatso, a matured highly skilled carer from Malawi who was trained at JE ACADEMY in Kuilsriver and have a certificate in Home based care including advanced First Aid and CPR. I did my full practicals at AFM HOME FOR OLDER PERSONS n Kuilsriver where i had the maximum opportunity to nurse various patients who shared not so similar chronic conditions which included, patients with dementia/Alzheimer's, frail and bedridden patients who needed special care, patients with Parkinson condition, patients on different stages of cancer, post operated patients those with physical disabilities and needed a wheelchair to get by. I conducted various duties during my daily shifts which included: Bed changing in the morning and full wash on resident patients. Bedpan and changing continence pads. Assisting other able patients to shower etc. Feeding frail patients Checking vitals like blood pressure, sugar, temperature and pulse in the morning Dressing wounds and sores management as well Assisting with giving out medication Being a companion to all resident patients and helping out with exercises etc I went on to be employed by GLOBAL VISION OF HOPE as a Care giver and nursed various patients who faced so many challenges like dementia, frail patients, post operated patients, patients on final moments care and other patients with different chronic situations.
