e-learning Instructional Designer

· Develop engaging and effective learning materials for e-learning courses within the education sector, using a mix of imagery, videos and interactive content.

· Utilize instructional design principles to create learner-centric materials that cater to diverse learning styles and preferences with understanding of atleast 2 instrucitonal design models (Addie, Blooms taxonomy, Merille’s Principals of Instruction, SAM) · Use a wide variety of e-learning authoring tools and multimedia software to enhance the delivery of educational content. This includes and is not limited to:

o Exceptionally strong & experience using skills using H5P & Articulate

o Strong skills and experience using Canva for creation of graphics

o Skills using video creation tools is advantageous, but not critical

o Strong skills using Moodle

o Skills & experience using Canvas, blackboard and other LMS platforms is advantageous

· Ensure content is current, accurate, and aligned with industry best practices and emerging trends in instructional design.

· Incorporate high levels of interactive elements, assessments, and feedback mechanisms to promote effective knowledge retention and skill acquisition.

· Work closely with the e-learning team to manage timelines, deliverables, and revisions throughout the instructional design process.

· Ability to work with course material from various industries (Business, technology, finance, medical etc)

· Embrace constructive criticism and suggested improvements.
