24V Starter Solar Kit: 2x 335W panels, MPPT solar charge controller, inverter, batteries, cables

OVERVIEW

This 670W Solar Power Kit (2x 335W panels) is in absolute fantastic condition, with hardly any sign of use. It has been kept well, and used lightly for just about a year and a half. The batteries (2x 12V 100Ah gel) have never been allowed to run below 50%, so they are still in a very healthy state. It is a plug and play solution: you only need a vehicle to take all things with you, and to put it together with all the cables included, and you are good to go!

Only selling this because of an upgraded system: it was a blessing for my family, and it has avoided us a lot of trouble (such as food going off) during the all-too-frequent Stage 6 loadsheddings. I know it can be a blessing to you too, especially for this price!

The 24V inverter is branded as a "1500W inverter" because it is rated to run 1500W for 15 minutes, but has a 1200W continuous power rating.

During a sunny day, you can run the following concurrently with no issue on the inverter:

- 2 x large appliances (typically a fridge and a household chest freezer), AND

- Either lot of electronics (TV, two Desktop Computers, two Laptops and two phones charging altogether), OR

- 1 x small appliance (such as a small sandwich press)

If the batteries were charged to 100%, you can run a fridge and a household chest freezer for about 4-5 hours before batteries reach 50% when the Sun is not shining.

To keep this system healthy, make sure you never run the batteries below 50%.
