Food Service Sales Manager

Our client in the Boland is in need of a Food services Sales Manager

The purpose of this position is to generate sales in the food service industry.

The person in this position will be required to maintain existing relationships and create awareness around the additional products that are available. The position will require of the person

to build new relationships and grow sales opportunities. For internal use We have already launched or are busy launching several cheeses that should do well in Food Service sector, namely: cream cheese buckets , dips, Danish Style Feta , Crumbed Camembert , Yogi baa’s , Dairy Free Cheeses and Dairy Free ice cream.

We also want to better understand the needs of the end users ie restaurants, hotels, guesthouses etc with regards to pack sizes, packaging and new product development requests Skills / Qualifications / Experience: Past elements that MUST be present • Ideally a minimum of 5 years in the hospitality industry as a manager or rep for a FMCG Company (preferably Dairy) • Outgoing, friendly, engaging personality • Goal driven • Self-manage • Structured work ethic - providing feedback & reporting • Grade 12 • Business savvy – good understanding of food costing Key Performance Areas: what are the key deliverables Administration • Analysing and reporting on sales data • Reporting on sales opportunity and growth • Assisting production team with stock forecasting requirement
