Rietfontein, Pretoria Moot: RETAIL BUYERMinimum Requirements:-Well presented, professional Afrikaans speaking individual-Afrikaans and English first and second languages a must (NOT negotiable – Afr & Eng clients & suppliers)-Matric / Grade 12-Relevant Diploma / Degree from a Tertiary Educational Institute obtained-Minimum 3 years experience AS A RETAIL BUYER, specifically in retail and industrial purchasing a must-Strong administrative skills-Computer literate in MS Office (Pastel Evolution advantageous)-High attention to detail and accuracy-Able to work large volumes.-Excellent verbal and communication skills with fluency in Afrikaans and English.-Responsible and reliable-Stable employment record A MUST (no job hoppers, long term employment at previous employers etc.)-Contactable References A MUST-To start as soon as possibleDuties:-Full buyer functions of wholesales packaging supplier (Integral part of the Procurement function in the Company)-Placing orders-Manage stock levels – Inventory optimisation-Price negotiations-Souring quality suppliers and stock-Identifying / sourcing of stock items-Contact suppliers in writing or by telephone for any queries-Follow-up with suppliers concerning deliveries / special orders-Assist Sales Department with special stock inquiries.-Engage with suppliers / colleagues and clients in a professional manner.-Stock Taking-Provide feedback to management.Salary: Negotiable depending on relevant experience (Market related approximately R 15 000 gross)E-mail detailed CV in Word or PDF (Not as a link) and indicate the following in the subject line:- Reference CR2132; and- Your salary expectation in context with market relation.(Also forward a recent photograph and Reference letters if possible)APPLICATIONS NOT MEETING ALL REQUIREMENTS WILL BE DELETED
