Description
The conversion of data to quality sales using sound sales techniques and best business practices.  * *1. Achieve Targets* * Achieve individual sales target for Gross Additions * Achieve individual sales target for Upgrades * Achieve weekly and monthly call stats * *2. Handle Inbound Calls* * Identify customer’s needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives * Seize opportunities to upsell products when they arise * Route calls to appropriate department * *3. Cold calling* * Ability to acquire new customers * Ability to up-sell and cross-sell * Ability to conduct effective research into a client prior to making contact * Ability to meet the number of customer meetings required as set out in the KPIs * *4. Customer Relationship Management* * Responsible for developing relationships with existing customers * Maintain and grow existing client base * Conduct customer account analysis * Maintain, build and service relationships on a regular basis * Ability to retain out-of-contract and renewable customers * *5. Query management* * Identify, address, and resolve concerns / queries * Provide regular and prompt feedback to clients in a timely manner * *6. Reporting* * Provide accurate forecasting on weekly and monthly sales pipelines * Provide daily activity and sales report * Up-to-date reporting on marketing leads provided * Reports to be submitted within the time frames required * *7. Processes and Procedures* * Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to * Ensure all interactions are captured on the relevant systems in the approved manner * Matric / Senior certificate * At least 1 year experience as a B2B Telesales agent or similar position in the customer service or sales environment. * Must have 1 year experience within an inbound/outbound contact center environment with a proven track record * Must have knowledge of the Mobile Telecommunications environment * Proficient with Microsoft Office *Desirable Qualifications *a*nd Experiences* * Mobile product and industry knowledge experience advantageous *BEHAVIOURAL AND COMPETENCY REQUIRED* * Sales skills * Strong business acumen * Excellent presentation skills * Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) * Decision making skills * Excellent interpersonal skills * Time management skills * Ability to formulate, set and manage goals and objectives * Ability to cope with high pressure levels and manage stress effectively * Excellent telephone and email etiquette * Strong relationship building, account planning and process competence skills Salary: R9000 with lucrative commission. Cellphone allowance.
