Production Floor Manager A beverage manufacturing company is lookingto hire a well presented, organized and hardworking floor manager to overseeproduction and staff activities. We are looking for likeminded individualsare innovative, analytical and detail orientated. Conditions of WorkWork Hours: 8.00am – 5.00pmMonday to Friday and certain Saturdays as required by the production schedule. Location: Epping, Cape Town Responsibilities· Leading andmotivating production staff· Overseeing of production flooractivities, managing incoming raw materials, outgoing shipments and maintainingefficient workflow. · Implementation and monitoringof operational systems and processes to increase efficiency and productivity, minimizeloss and effectively manage stock and equipment. · Ensuring that cleaning andmaintenance schedules are adhered to. Ensure that all health and safety requirements of the business are adhered to. Stock and inventory control, record keeping and order tracking. Client and supplier liaison. Required Knowledge &Skills · 2years+ work experience in arelevant manufacturing/processing industry. · Diploma/degreein Production Management/Food Technology and or equivalent.· Knowledge andinterpretation of general health & safety requirements including GMPs, HACCP,FSSC 22000. Good computer literacy and ability to proficiently use Excel, MSword and othersCompetence in written and spoken English, and basic numeracy and arithmetic.Valid work permit if a foreign national.Valid Driver’s License Required Abilities · . Excellent communication skills and the ability tobuild strong interpersonal relationships.Leadership skills, with the ability to foster teamwork, and work cooperatively and effectively with other staff.Decision-making skills; with the ability to assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the company.Organizational skills: with the capacity to clearly organize; by setting priorities, develop work schedules and systems and implementing effective actions plans.Problem solving skills; through identifying issues, their causes, and effectively generating possible solutions.
