Description
*Reputable property management company situated in Umhlanga, Durban seeks an experienced Leasing Administrator for new and existing developments.* *Candidates must have at least 2 years' retail environment experience and full knowledge of FICA requirements.  A NQF4 qualification is advantageous.* * Responsible for the accurate completion of information and paperwork for tenants. (Data base, turn overs etc.) * Drafting all of documents required but not limited to Heads of Lease; Offers to lease and Lease Agreements * Ensure that all lease documentation complies with the prevailing laws and regulations * Maintain and update a filing system both electronically or paper based * Ensure that the Pre-leasing and leasing paperwork is completed to the correct standards and within the correct time frames with all correct supporting documents * Keep track of deals to ensure that the correct paperwork is on hand and completed at the correct time * Complete the Administration process by checking that all documents are completed; signed and audited * Compilation of FICA document packs in line with Finance and legislative requirements. These pertain to both the landlord and the tenant * Check that the Deposit and Leasing fees have been paid within the required time frame / deadlines * Prepare Renewal Lease packs and complete the necessary administration tasks related to this process * Prepare documents timeously eg: TRF and release forms (interdepartmental) * At least 2 - 3 years' experience in the role of Leasing Administrator in a retail environment * Full knowledge of FICA requirements and Risk Assessment * NQF4 qualification is an advantage * Understanding of government retail regulations and requirements related to the administration functions within the property sector * Strong organisational and communication skills Please note that only suitably qualified candidates will be contacted.
