Junior Process Engineer

Our client, a diverse injection moulding and plastics manufacturing company, seeks to employ a junior level Process Engineer at their plant in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.

This role is not a senior or management role but rather a junior management level position ideally suited to a candidate who has 1-3 years experience in Process Engineering, preference given to those in the injection moulding sector

You must be able to work independently and accurately keep records and be proactive in your approach to ensuring the profitability of the company.
You must have completed a qualification in Industrial Engineering or Production Management, coupled with 1-3 years experience in the monitoring of processes to eliminate risk and to ensure effective process and production flows.
You will have a solid understanding of documenting and issuing engineering changes, as well as monitoring and addressing non-conformances on both quality and processes.
You will have superb investigation abilities in order to discover root cause problems and rectify, with minimal risk
You will have excellent problem solving skills, have a proven track record in resolving non-conformances and discrepancies, and be able to work proactively to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient productivity .
You will have had previous working experience in a fast paced and multi-faceted manufacturing environment
You must have a valid driver’s license, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
