ENVIRONMENT: HELP produce high-quality design projects of an innovative Digital Agency seeking a highly creative & ambitious Junior Designer/Video Editor to join its team. Your role will entail delivering on special tasks for the completion of projects while creating unique ideas to improve projects. Your contribution will add value to the team and the end product, directly impacting customer satisfaction and profits. You will be expected to attend Agile meetings 2 times a day. The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree/National Diploma or Higher Certificate in any Design/Video Production related tertiary qualification, have prior experience in a similar role with proficiency in tools including Premier Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign. You will require your own laptop/desktop computer with a microphone and webcam. All candidates must be able to present a portfolio of work. DUTIES: * Help deliver on design requirements. * Understand the design idea and concept. * Pitch unique ideas for design projects. * Collaborate with Senior Designers and the Design team to produce the final product. * Use the best design methods, applications, software, and techniques to work on the project. * Create drafts and models for review. * Take on specific tasks to support many projects underway. * Take in constructive criticism and produce quality work. * Video editing and basic animation. *What to expect from the role -* * Hands-on experience with helping in delivering design requirements. * Hands-on experience with design and image editing software. * Hands-on experience with video editing software. * Opportunity to be guided and work with professionals in the industry. * Learning how to organize, multitask and manage time. * Exposure to the design industry and its various responsibilities. REQUIREMENTS: *Qualifications –* * Bachelor's Degree, National Diploma, or Higher Certificate in fields related to Design/Video Production. *Experience/Skills –* * Prior experience as a Junior Designer or Video Editor. * A good portfolio of past design and creative projects. * Fluent with Adobe Design and video software and editing tools. (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.). * Good command over design techniques and visual elements. * Your own laptop or desktop computer. * A microphone and a webcam.
