Inventory Controller (FG)

Roles and Responsibilities



1. Orders



1.1. Print Kanbans, manifests and skid labels.

1.2. Check that all kanbans have been printed and bundle in manifest and skid labels.

1.3. Creation of customer delivery notes as and when required.

1.4. Handle all queries relating to the department.



2. Inventory



2.1. Update daily critical planning board by 07h30.

2.2. Update Finished Goods risk parts board by 08h00.

2.3. Update visual management stock boards in production areas.

2.4. Update and publish daily risk parts inventory report.

2.5. Update P & A stock report.

2.6. Investigate and provide countermeasure for inventory discrepancies.


Dunnage


3.1. Order Chep dunnage.

3.2. Recon Chep dunnage monthly.

3.3. Order and expedite TSAM bins & pallets from Trenstar.






Transport


4.1. Book Courier timeously for P & A / VWSA.

4.2. Complete courier waybill.


General Admin


5.1. Carry out general administration functions as required (printing, laminating, etc.).

5.2. Carry out administration tasks relating to annual stock take.

5.3. Compile monthly Logistics report.


Visual Management


6.1. Update Finished Goods & Intermediate Stores Visual Management Boards.

6.2. Update Logistics Monthly Data.





Qualifications


Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain.


Experience


2 years administration experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.


Job Requirements


Strong administration skills.
MS Office.
Pastel basic.
Syspro.
Good verbal and written communication.
