Description
Position: Design Engineer
Location: Pinetown, Durban
Reports To: Engineering & Business Development Executive
Purpose of the Role:
Support of production engineering for maximization of efficiency and process uptime.
To ensure hand overs of products, processes and documentation to production are conducted adequately communicating all critical characteristics and quality information appropriately.
New product development to meet customer specification and comply with both internal and external systems requirements within the agreed upon timeline.
Minimum Qualifications Criteria:
BTech in Mechanical Engineering
5 years relevant work experience
Knowledge and experience with IATF Core Tools
Skills
Competent in using Microsoft Office programs
Competent in using 3D CAD Modeling Software
Basic manufacturing process knowledge & experience, i.e. CNC Tube & Plate bending, Laser cutting, robotics (welding, plasma cutting, polishing).
Basic skills in Project Management is a requirement

Inspector to join our team in the Jacobs, Durban and Richards Bay areas. This
position is based in RICHARDS BAY but will require occasional visits to our
head office in Jacobs, Durban.
Job Description: The successful candidate will be
responsible for performing inspections of industrial coatings in accordance
with NACE standards. This includes surface preparation, application, and curing
processes.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Conducting inspections of surface preparation and coating
application processes.
Documenting inspection results and maintaining records.
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality
standards.
Collaborating with the team to resolve any issues that arise
during the coating process.
Qualifications:
NACE Level 1 Certification is required.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent Excel and MS office skills.
