Chief Risk Officer

Our client is currently seeking for a Chief Risk Officer to join their Team.

This role is for candidates who are passionate about finance risk. The client expects you to have a good understanding of risk across the bank and keep up to date with relevant frameworks and policies.

Duties and responsibilities
Communicate and maintain risk strategies and a risk appetite across the different business units.
Oversee all risk profiles and provide leadership, challenge, and analyze risk and reward.
Manage relationships with and regularly assess the requirements of the Board Risk Committee, Executive Committees.
Oversee the implementation of strategic risks related projects and risk transformation agendas.
Committing to rigorous stress and scenario testing of the business and material risks to ensure a sufficient level of risk mitigation is in place.
Design and motivate risk models to support the business risk management strategy.
Minimum Requirements
A relevant Honors or Master’s qualification within the business and risk frameworks.
5 - 7 years’ experience with atleast 3 years at Senior Management level.
