FORKLIFT MECHANIC/TECHNICIAN POSITION

Role Purpose
The primary purpose of the Forklift Mechanic is to maintain, diagnose and repair a variety of forklifts and other materials handling equipment. They must ensure that all components and systems are in good working order and that the machines are kept in a safe condition.

Duties -
Test forklift trucks to ensure repairs are completed correctly and are operational.

The candidate will be providing technical and diagnostic services to material handling equipment.

He will be responsible for the repair, preventative maintenance, and service of various types of forklift trucks – Diesel forklifts, and warehouse equipment on-site.
Taking care of orderly workplace at workshop, keeping all maintenance areas clean
Creating, completion and maintaining job cards.
Providing general maintenance support.

Experience
Min 10 years’ experience with servicing and repairing forklifts. (KRONE CRANE AND HYSTER)3 TON – 45 TON MACHINE
Basic mechanical systems know how preferred
Must be able to communicate at all levels.
Well-disciplined and self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

• Forklift Mechanic: 10 years (Required)

Valid SA ID/Drivers licence

Must be able to start ASAP.
