Troye is a highly respected IT Service Provider specialising in Citrix Virtualisation, Networking, Security (ADC and SD-WAN) and Hybrid Cloud solutions with more than two decades in business.  Our solution set provides for a complete digital workspace including infrastructure solutions.  We are Citrix Platinum Plus partners as well as VMware, Microsoft Nutanix, Tintri, Veeam, Dell, HP and Centerm partners. Our customers include many enterprises and public sector institutions some of which have been with us for 20 years due to our service excellence, attention to detail and high skill levels. We are seeking an External Business Development Representative to join our vibrant team.  The candidate will be responsible for generating new business, building and strengthening existing customer relationships.  A technical understanding of our solution stack is beneficial, the candidate must have a knowledge of Citrix and Microsoft solutions, Networking and Infrastructure Hardware including ADC and SD-WAN solutions.   The candidate must be self-motivated and results driven with a proven track record in IT sales, must be able to generate new opportunities and grow existing accounts, achieve sales targets, in turn growing themselves and contributing to the company’s success.  The successful candidate must:   * Be able to identify opportunities * Have good presentation skills * Be a good listener * Must be able to write professional proposals * Demonstrate our solutions to customers * Have good negotiation skills * Be proficient in account management * Build strong customer relationships with a consultative sales approach   * Provide regular sales pipeline updates and reporting on all aspects of the opportunities to management * Be self-sufficient, independent and able to understand customer pain points / translate those into value adding opportunities Market related The successful candidate must:   * Be able to identify opportunities * Have good presentation skills * Be a good listener * Must be able to write professional proposals * Demonstrate our solutions to customers * Have good negotiation skills * Be proficient in account management * Build strong customer relationships with a consultative sales approach   * Provide regular sales pipeline updates and reporting on all aspects of the opportunities to management * Be self-sufficient, independent and able to understand customer pain points / translate those into value adding opportunities
