QUALIFIED AND HIGHLY SKILLED SPRAY PAINTER/EAST LONDON. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing and applying paint, and ensuring a smooth, high-quality finish on vehicles, equipment, or other surfaces while adhering to safety and quality standards. MUST have panel beating experience and be willing to start on a fixed term project contract basis with the possibility of permanent employment later Minimum Requirements: More than 7 -10 years ‘experience in the function Knowledge of preparation on various metals and surfaces particularly aluminium Knowledge of preparation- and paint products for various applications Knowledge of job specific equipment and be able to offer advice to improve department Understand the correct application of priming-, body filling - and paint products on various surfaces Must be able to work meticulously and pay a great deal of attention to detail to achieve a quality final product Welding skill essential – various applications Must be able to work in a team as well as independently unsupervised Must be deadline driven Must be able to plan various steps of a project, and possibly multiple projects simultaneously Salary: Salary and performance incentive negotiable Application Process: Please e-mail your CV, Trade Certificate, and recent head & shoulder to Solutions@workafrica.co.za.
