Restaurant Commis Chef - Century Lounge Mediterranean Restaurant Century City

We are looking for a hardworking and dedicated Commis Chef to join our Kitchen Team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist chefs with daily food preparation and mise en place.

- Maintain high standards of food quality, portioning, and presentation.

- Follow recipes, instructions and portion controls accurately.

- Keep all work stations clean, organised, and compliant with hygiene and safety standards.

- Assist with stock rotation, labelling, and safe storage of ingredients.

- Support the Grill Chef, Sous Chef and Head Chef during service.

- Ensure that all prep areas and equipment are cleaned beforehand and after service.

- Contribute to smooth kitchen operations during high-volume periods.

Requirements:

- Minimum 6 months - 1 year experience in kitchen environment (restaurant experience preferred).

- Basic knife skills and understanding of kitchen procedures.

- Ability to work in a faced-paced environment.

- Eager to learn, take instruction, and develop culinary skills.

- Good communication and team work skills.

- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.

- Availability for shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
