Vacancy: Production Supervisor

The following will be an advantage -

* Valid Code 08/10 Licence

* Good communication and leadership skills

* Work Experience in the citrus industry & available

references

Duties will include but not limited to:

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for -

* the daily planning, implementing and monitoring of

daily production activities

* managing all farming equipment, vehicles and

buildings

* the daily inspection of tractors and any other

maintenance needs - report to General Manager

* the daily management of staff on the farm

* the daily clocking in and -out of staff /attendance

register

* the daily transport of staff to and from the farm

* the fertigation of orchards in accordance with

fertigation program

* the pruning program as planned with General

Manager

* the mixing and measuring of chemicals in

accordance with the chemical program

* the receiving and storing of chemical deliveries

* the monthly stocktake of chemicals / fertilizers

* daily managing of drivers and spray operators

* managing team leaders & picking teams - during

picking season

* managing and maintaining overall neatness of the

farm and roads

* issuing and maintenance of all tools - upkeep of

tool register

# Must adhere to Health & Safety Protocols (Rules)

# Must adhere to all instructions given by General

Manager

# Must attend Training Sessions for Self-

Development

# Applicant will be required to stay on the farm
