Product Demonstrator - Power Tools

On offer is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic individual to join our TRAINING TEAM to showcase our range of power tools and accessories in a compelling and informative way. This role allows you to interact with shoppers and introduce them to our various brands and products, to explain product features, answer their questions, and provide hands-on demonstrations to take our brand presence to the next level.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DEMONSTRATOR

Effectively present products to customers, highlighting key features and benefits.
Demonstrations at retail stores, shows, clubs, events, project builds, workshops, and end users.
Maintaining a demo schedule 1-2 months in advance.
Educating and engaging with customers: Interact with customers, answer their questions, and provide product information.
Generating leads and increasing sales of the product that is being demonstrated.
Maintain a thorough understanding and technical knowledge of the products being demonstrated.
Setting up neat, organised and visually attractive demo stands/displays to create curiosity.
Ensuring you use marketing material like posters, invitations, emailers, and advertising to promote each of your demonstrations.
Assisting with all project builds when required.
Occasional work on weekends and public holidays.
Keeping a record of all customer feedback reports and photos.
Submitting weekly activity reports.

A Matric Certificate (Grade 12).
Basic computer skills (MS Outlook, Excel, Word).
Prior work experience in a sales environment.
Comfortable operating power tools.
Understanding the product's features and benefits is crucial.

A valid drivers license and excellent driving skills.
Willingness to travel country-wide as and when needed.
Must be in good physical condition, with the ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift and carry heavy equipment, under health and safety regulations
