You are a young electrical engineer, passionate about solar PV and you enjoy working on site!

You pay attention to detail, and you are timeline and deadline orientated. You have the ability to work independently but you also enjoy working in a team player environment. You strive to show your professional work ethic and you are dynamic, self-motivated and reliable.
*What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)*
You will be a very hands-on on site and you will oversee solar installations and commissioning while managing a team of installers (team of 6 -12). You will ensure safety requirements are met on site and that installations are done according to the quality control plans. You would resolve any engineering queries on site and liaise with the engineering department.
*Where you’ll be doing it*
You will have the opportunity to meet and work with different clients on multiple projects throughout South Africa while working for a leading renewables energy company focusing on the design, implementation and ownership of operational energy assets that lead to sustainability and cleaner production. These projects include technologies in biomass, biogas and solar photovoltaic and the have added waste-to-energy to their portfolio. How cool it that!?
*What you’ll need*
You have a BSc/BENG/BTech Electrical Engineering degree and you are able to work in a multidisciplined engineering environment. And you have 1-2 years’ experience working on Solar PV sites as an electrical engineer. You must be comfortable with travelling to sites across the country.
