As we continue to strengthen our operational backbone, we are appointing a Senior Production Manager to join our Executive Team and play a critical role in shaping the future of our production environment.

This is not a floor-level role. It is a strategic leadership position for a production professional who can think commercially, lead decisively, and drive operational excellence across the business.

THE ROLE

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Senior Production Manager will have end-to-end accountability for production strategy, execution, and optimisation across all manufacturing operations.

As a member of the Executive Team, you will contribute to business-wide strategy, balancing operational efficiency with people leadership, quality, cost control, and long-term scalability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide strategic leadership across all production functions, aligned to business objectives

• Drive production planning, capacity optimisation, and output performance

• Own cost control, efficiencies, waste reduction, and margin improvement initiatives

• Ensure strict compliance with quality, health & safety, and regulatory standards

• Lead, develop, and hold accountable production management and supervisory teams

• Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, HR, and Finance to ensure integrated decision-making

• Implement continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, CI, process optimisation)

• Deliver accurate production reporting and data-driven insights at Executive level

• Build a high-performance, accountable production culture

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Proven experience in a senior production or operations leadership role within manufacturing

• Demonstrated ability to operate at Executive / Exco level

• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of cost control and efficiency gains

• Experience managing large teams, multiple shifts, and complex production environments

• Confident decision-maker with strong people leadership and communication skills

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment

• Solid understanding of production planning, forecasting, and reporting systems

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Operations, or Production Management (advantageous)
