Job Description
You will be responsible for the following:
- Disassemble and assess damage on blower parts
- Maintenance and assembly of blowers
- Measure bearing clearances using a DTI and Feeler Gauges
- General machining on a Centre Lathe and Milling Machine
- Use of hydraulic tools to install gears
- Pulley installation and vee-belt alignment
- Overhead crane use
- Disassembly and Inspection of equipment
Qualifications
- Trade Tested Mechanical Fitter/ Fitter and Turner Must have done an Apprenticeship
- Matric
Skills
- Minimum 3 years experience as a fitter or technician, particularly in the compressed air or industrial rotating machinery sector.
