- Matric certificate with passes in Mathematics and Physical Science
- Engineering Graphics and Design (EGD) or Technical Drawing as a subject
- A Draughting Diploma or Certificate will be highly beneficial
- Basic proficiency in SolidWorks (or similar CAD software) advantageous
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes
- Attention to detail and ability to work within tight tolerances
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork and client interaction
- Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced engineering environment
DUTIES
- Create precise 2D technical drawings for manufacturing and tooling.
- Develop and refine 3D CAD models to support product and tool design.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to translate concepts into manufacturable designs.
- Ensure all drawings and models meet industry standards and internal quality requirements.
- Participate in design reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
