Commissioning Engineer:

Duties and responsibilities
- Inspect sites during construction on behalf of Asset Owners or EPCs
- Lead or witness system commissioning and handovers
- Identify defects, risks, and non-compliances and clearly define corrective actions
- Support Asset Managers with technical fault diagnosis, particularly during warranty periods
- Conduct routine quality and compliance inspections on operational sites
- Produce clear, accurate inspection and commissioning reports
- Provide technical insight that informs O&M scope, pricing, and risk
Experience and Qualifications
- Red Seal / Electrical Trade Test, Wiremans Licence, or equivalent engineering qualification
- Strong commissioning, inspection, and fault-finding experience
- High attention to detail with excellent technical reporting skills
- Confident working with Asset Owners, EPCs, and contractors
- A practical, quality-driven mindset with strong technical judgement
