Youll be joining a multicultural team committed to quality craftsmanship and collaborative project delivery.The Role: Technical Coordinator Systems Electric and ElectronicAs Technical Coordinator, you will support the yacht systems division by managing the integration of complex electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems on board luxury yachts. Youll work across hydraulic systems, diesel-electric and hybrid propulsion, high-voltage electrics, and onboard control systems. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role requiring collaboration with engineers, subcontractors, and production staff to deliver fully compliant, efficient, and cutting-edge systems that meet the shipyards standards of excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesMinimum 5 years experience in yacht-building or similar marine environmentsCollaborate with systems and electrical teams to integrate hydraulic and PLC systemsDefine electrical loads, switchboard layouts, cable runs, and trunking routesSupport the development of high-voltage DC and hybrid propulsion systemsReview supplier schematics and coordinate component selection and ordersSupervise the installation of CAN Bus-based control and monitoring systemsParticipate in commissioning and sea trials, troubleshoot bottlenecks and non-conformitiesEnsure compliance with maritime safety regulations and technical standardsStay current with marine systems technologies and regulatory updatesAbout YouAt least 5 years technical experience in a marine or yacht-building environmentDegree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering preferredFamiliarity with superyacht systems including hydraulics, PLCs, HVAC, and water makersExposure to high-voltage DC (e.g., 650VDC) and hybrid propulsion systems is a strong advantageStrong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skillsClear communicator with solid technical documentation and coordination abilitiesAdaptable, proactive, and solutions-focused under pressureOpen to working overtime and responding to project needs dynamicallyComfortable in a multicultural, high-performance settinghttps://www.jobplacements.com/Jobs/T/Technical-Coordinator-Systems-Electric-and-Electro-1243395-Job-Search-12-1-2025-4-34-43-AM.asp?sid=gumtree
