2 x Construction Manager - Cape Town

Qualifications:

Matric/Grade 12

Certificate / Diploma Engineering/Construction

3-5 years Petrochemical projects experience

Key responsibilities include:

1. The job specification aligns with that of a typical 8.1(a) Construction Manager appointment.

2. Overseeing daily site construction activities and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and permit-to-work procedures.

3. Managing and coordinating the construction team, including foremen and subcontractors.
4. Preparing and submitting daily site progress reports and maintaining accurate project documentation.
5. Interpreting and working from engineering drawings and project plans.
6. Planning, scheduling, and tracking progress against project timelines.
7. Coordinating with engineering and project management teams to resolve on-site technical issues.
8. Ordering and controlling materials, tools, and equipment as required.
