FACILITIES MANAGER – ELECTRICAL (CAPE TOWN)

Remuneration: R38-42 p/m (neg)

PURPPOSE Provide managerial direction w.r.t to service delivery in order to ensure maximum customer satisfaction for the Client. Ensure outputs are maintained as per SLA.

Duties - Manage technical maintenance field work to ensure compliance with contractual deliveries (staff / contractors) - Manage all aspects of partner interactions with the client and stakeholders - Develop an effective, customer based, proactive relationship at all levels with the client and -stakeholder - Co-operate with the client and other service providers in providing all necessary information for detailed field planning of maintenance in order to ensure optimum implementation - Account for materials used paying particular attention to surplus materials to ensure compliance with budget requirements. - Initiate the necessary completion certificates on termination of maintenance - Conduct toll box talks, safety visits, mini safety audits on a regular basis and assist with all Risk Assessment Plans in the department in order to ensure compliance with safety Regulations - Ensure staff are adequately trained of all aspects of safety and equipped with necessary tools and have required medicals in place - Ensure a high standard of productivity is maintained. - Manage and handle all PR and HR related matters relating to team and allocated staff Must have knowledge and experience - Grade 12 - Appropriate Electrical Tertiary qualification: NDip / Suitable trade test- discipline (red seal) - Wireman’s Licence: Single Phase and Three Phase - Min 5 year experience in Supervisory level in Facilities Management / Built environment, bHSE level 1 & 2 - Enhanced knowledge of - Production plants & process - MV/HT Switchgear - Standby generators and UP - Electrical Maintenance procedures - Equipment & machinery
