Full Spectrum Conversion is where the digital camera is professionally modified to capture a wider range of light than it was originally designed for. Specifically, they remove the internal hot mirror filter that blocks ultraviolet (UV), infrared (IR), and certain parts of the visible light spectrum.

With a full spectrum conversion, your camera can capture:
